Coaching Journeys

“By being yourself, you put something beautiful into the world that was not there before.”

- Edwin Elliot

Self-Acceptance

On a regular basis, we participate in multiple circles – like work, family, friends, and our community – where societal norms and expectations differ. Without realizing it, we tend to adjust our image and behaviors depending on the circle we’re showing up in so we can feel accepted. So we can feel like we belong.

But after years of conforming, you might find yourself asking “who am I and how do I want to show up in the world?”

Throughout my life, I felt like I was sending a “representative” of myself into the world so I could fit in. I know what it’s like to uncover and embrace all my quirks, struggles, beliefs, and passions, and then feel comfortable being me.

The process of meeting and being your true self takes time and courage. So, I’m committed to coaching you through your own journey to becoming the person you truly want to be. Through our sessions, you'll begin to recognize and appreciate your uniqueness, tame the negative stories and comparisons, and find freedom in showing up as your authentic self.

“You don’t need permission to be who you are, the universe already gave you permission.”

- Matshona Dhliwayo

Personal Growth

Have you found yourself asking, “how did I get here?” Perhaps you went after something you thought you wanted, but you now realize you don’t want it after all. Or maybe you were too fearful or said no to something and are now wondering what could have been.

Some people realize, when reflecting on their life, that things have turned out far better than anything they planned. But there are many of us who have a wonderful family, a beautiful home, a great career, and good health, yet feel like something’s missing.

The good news is we have the power to create the life we’d love. If we appreciate the fact that things change and we evolve, we can look back on our life with gratitude and look forward with excitement and anticipation for what it can be.

Through our sessions, you’ll begin to build a thriving life by investigating your past with curiosity, acknowledging your present without judgment, and creating your future with intention.

“People may call what happens at midlife "a crisis," but it’s not. It’s an unraveling—a time when you feel a desperate pull to live the life you want to live, not the one you’re “supposed” to live. The unraveling is a time when you are challenged by the universe to let go of who you think you are supposed to be and to embrace who you are.”

- Brené Brown
